Medical Doctor Ratings

How do I find credible medical doctor ratings?

If you are specifically searching for a top top medical specialist in the U.S., you are in the right place. As a Research & Information company, we specialize in researching and recognizing the top medical doctors in America and providing comprehensive doctor background reports. Background Checks on Doctors

How do you perform background checks on doctors?

MDNationwide's proprietary innovative system conducts an in-depth investigation into the background of each doctor. Data about their education, training, experience, membership alliances, publications, special expertise, disciplinary actions, judgments, nationwide medical licensure status, and other data is collected from credential agencies, insurance companies, physicians, and other identities. This data helps us identify which doctors are truly America's best doctors and allows us to provide the Internet's most comprehensive doctor background reports.

Should I organize and monitor my family health records?

We certainly think so. Knowing your family health history and monitoring your health records is one of the most important steps in receiving a high-quality health care. MDTelecomm Software can help you build a strong line of communication between you, as a patient. and your health care providers.

1. How long has MDNationwide.org been in existence?

MDNationwide™ LLC was founded in 2002.

2. Is MDNationwide.org a credible source

Absolutely ! We have stayed focused and continue to specialize strictly in doctor credential information. Our services allow consumers and businesses to access our top medical specialists database or order the Internet's most comprehensive doctor background reports, and become the #1 site in doctor background reports.

3. How does MDNationwide find the top doctors?

Our company methodology differs from that of other companies, who have their own methodology in place. We use a simple, yet sophisticated approach. Our surveys are conducted through a long process that involves communicating with doctors, medical boards, credential agencies, and other entities. Board Certified MDs are asked, for example, "Which specialists in your field would you consider most desirable to care for YOUR loved one?"

MDNationwide™ proprietary software Top Doctor Analyzer is used to indentify America's best physicians. Medical boards, state and federal credentialing agencies, and other entities are contacted for assurances about proper credentials and medical licensures. A doctor's education, training, certifications, and other credentials must meet our high company standards.

4. How does MDNationwide.org get its information about physicians?

We have spent years purchasing and/or leasing specialized databases and forming private and federal strategic partnerships. This allows our innovative infrastructure to deliver comprehensive, relevant physician information to consumers and businesses nationwide. .

5. Do Physicians pay to be listed in your Top Doctor database?

Absolutely not, We do not accept payments from any physicians, health insurance companies, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, or other such entities. Our income is derived solely from consumers who use our services. We are an independently owned for-profit company.

6. Why can't I find information on my doctor on MDNationwide?

At MDNationwide.org, we offer two completely different types of services. Access to our top medical doctors database includes more than 20,000 best doctors, all of whom have been extensively reviewed and meet our quality methodologies for inclusion. Our other service (doctor background checks) delivers the internet's most comprehensive relevant doctor background report(s) on any medical doctor in America. Doctor background reports are available on MDs (medical doctors) and DOs (osteopathic doctors) only. If your doctor is an MD, it's very likely he/she has been located and researched by our innovative system.

7. How often does MDNationwide.org conduct surveys on the top doctors?

Our surveys for inclusion in our "top medical doctor database" are performed as a continuous daily operation, which requires us to establish and maintain a full-time research team.

8. Where is MDNationwide.org located?

MDNationwide™ LLC is located in the Great Pacific Northwest.

9. Some doctor-referral services are free. Why isn't yours?

MDNationwide.org is NOT a doctor-referral service. MDNationwide™ is a Research and Information company specializing in identifying America's best doctors and providing comprehensive medical doctor background reports to consumers. Our income is derived solely from consumers who pay a fee to use our services. We work only for our customers and DO NOT accept fees from doctors, affiliate programs, health insurance companies, hospitals, or pharmaceutical companies.

10. Can I get the Best MDs in America listing in a book format?

A plan is set to release our new book, America's Best Physicians & Surgeons, in 2010.

11. How often do you update your Top Doctors in America database?

Our database is carefully reviewed annually. However, our ongoing research and innovative software applications allow us to update data daily.

12. How many doctors are listed in your top doctor database?

Currently, there are more than 20,000 best doctors in over 75 specialty and subspecialty fields. Our database includes specialists in all 50 states.

13. Do you notify the physicians who are nominated as the Top MDs in America?

Absolutely. Every MD we list is mailed or emailed our MDNationwide™ Honorable Prestigious Award Certificate. What a doctor does with their certificate is up to him or her.

14. Are all of the doctors who are included in your top doctor database free of any disciplinary actions?

Yes. Although a high percentage of doctors are sued at one time or another during their careers, that does not necessarily mean the suit was justified. Every nominated top doctor in our database has been extensively researched and cross-referenced using our databases and through the many resource channels we use for further review. Despite our best efforts, however, we do not guarantee our information is 100% accurate and up-to-date.

15. Do you offer hospital ratings?

No, we do not offer hospital ratings. Unlike many other establishments who do offer such services, our expertise and attention has been focused on delivering relevant, comprehensive medical doctor information only. This focus allows us to deliver higher quality information to consumers.

16. Do your doctor background reports include all states?

Absolutely. Our doctor background reports (data) includes all states in which the doctor has previously practiced or presently practices.

17. Can I find out if a doctor has been sued by ordering a doctor background report?

Currently our database holds more than 95,000 malpractice judgments. However, there are many more malpractice judgments out there. The National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) holds all doctor malpractices judgments issued in the U.S., but only a few organizations have access to the NPDB database. While we are not one of those organizations, our many years of expertise, forming strategic partnerships, and purchasing and leasing highly specialized databases has resulted in mdnationwide.org's database having more malpractice judgment listings than any other private establishment in the U.S.

18. How do you get your doctor ratings?

Our rating methodologies contain many different variables, which enables our innovative software application to gather, analyze, compare, and deliver a doctor's credential ratings. Basically, a physician's profile is analyzed and compared to all others in that particular specialty field. Then information is cross-referenced via our specialized doctor credential information databases. Next, our scoring curve methodologies are used in conjunction with doctor credential information to establish a final rating.

19. I ordered a doctor background report, but did not receive a confirmation or login information.

Once you fill in the form and submit, our system automatically auto-generates a user name and password for you and sends it to the email address you provided. If you did not receive this log-in information, we recommend you check your spam filter settings and other email folders you may have, such as Junk, bulk, deleted, etc. If you do not receive log-in information or cannot log in, please contact us at customerservice@mdnationwide.org, or reach us by phone at 877 242-8556.

20. Why does it take an hour to get a doctor's background report?

Unlike other doctor reports being offered, our reports are processed and delivered in real time. Many doctors are constantly training, continuing their education, moving, etc., so a small window of time between your request and our delivery of your report allows our innovative databases and software applications to update, process and deliver the Internet's most comprehensive doctor background reports available.

21. Can I rate a physician on your site?

No. Although it's possible that this could be helpful in some cases, the opportunities for the system to be manipulated are many, which ultimately distorts the quality of information passed to you, the consumer.

22. Why doesn't MDTelecomm Software have a help menu installed in the software?

This is a free Beta version of MDTelecomm Software . There is an MDTelecomm Software™ Support help web page that will guide you through questions you may have. You may also contact us toll free at 877-242-8556. Remember! Future software upgrades will have a free trial period.

23. Does MDTelecomm Software replace my medical records?

No. MDTelecomm™ was designed to make it simple for you to share your health records in situations when your physician is not available. It also can provide your physician with important information to which he or she may not otherwise have access (home-treated illnesses, treatments by other physicians, recent symptoms, etc.) The health record you maintain with MDTelecomm™ will allow you to share your health history directly with your current or new physician.

24. Why do your doctor background reports cost more than some others ?

Unlike most other services, mdnationwide.org specializes in providing comprehensive, relevant doctor background reports. This allows us to process real-time reports by using our many years of expertise, our innovative design and system, and our many strategic partnerships. Also, our databases are updated daily. We assure quality, and we do not rely on one-size-fits-all, cookie-cutter information.

25. What if I misspell the physician's name when I fill doctor background form?

Our innovative proprietary system is designed to identify and limit this type of error by recognizing other options within your search criteria. Although there is a possibility of error, our system is monitored daily and checked for possible errors in search results.

26. How often is your doctor background database updated?

Our doctor background main database is updated daily, and our top doctors database is updated monthly.

27. Why don't you offer a free trial with MDTelecomm Software?

MDTelecomm Software™ is a FREE software application now undergoing beta testing. There are no trial periods; it's a fully functional software application. In the future, an updated version of MDTelecomm™ will be available to consumers, and the newer version will have a free trial period.

28. May I print data from MDNationwide.org?

The use of MDNationwide™ LLC. data, such as the America's Top Medical Doctors database, is governed by our Terms of User Agreement. Copies of our data are strictly for personal use. You must have written permission from MDNationwide™ LLC to publish, distribute, or reproduce data from our database.

29. What is the difference between an MD and a DO doctor?

D.O.s and M.D.s are alike in many ways:

Applicants to both D.O. and M.D. colleges typically have a four-year undergraduate degree with an emphasis on science courses.
Both D.O.s and M.D.s complete four years of basic medical education beyond their undergraduate degree.
After medical school, both D.O.s and M.D.s can choose to practice in a specialty area of medicine such as psychiatry, surgery, obstetrics, or sports medicine after completing a residency program (typically, two to six years of additional training).
Both D.O.s and M.D.s must pass comparable state licensing examinations.
D.O.s and M.D.s both practice in fully accredited and licensed hospitals and medical centers.

30. If I am not happy with your services, can I get a refund?

Because of the nature of the services we offer regarding membership access to the best doctors database, we cannot give a cash-back guarantee. However, by using our doctor background check service guarantees no other service will provide more pertinent/relevant doctor background credential information in the context of a same search, for the same or lesser fee, given the same input, within 30 days following your request, or your money back. Please contact us toll free at 877-242-8556, and we will start the process. All personal information is held 100% confidential and is not rented, leased, sold or redistributed to any other parties.
